October 19th marked the 2nd inaugural Texas A&M home meet held in Colleyville, Texas. That’s right a home meet just shy of 4 hours from College Station. Before I discuss the results I’d like to give thanks to all the officers especially Ryan McManus for their logistics efforts that made the McManus Invitational possible. Thanks for Ryan’s parents for housing and feeding 25 college kids while they pretended to murder each other in the dark. I’d also like to give an inverse thanks to whichever university bureaucrat who believes the club swim team doesn’t deserve the pool for a few hours of a single Saturday morning. (Thanks & Gig Em!)-1. Regardless of the location TAMCS men, women, and combined managed to BTHO Baylor and every team for that matter. That’s pretty much the theme of this recap. For the number of events swam this meet expired rather quickly. In the same fashion I will get through all of our top place finishes as quickly as I can:

*Strikethroughs indicate what could have been. For reasons that pervade me, the team (Matt specifically) successfully attempted an average of 1 DQ per event.
Great job to everyone that represented the maroon and white in Dallas. If you’d like to hear about our post meet celebration ask the Brit (Matt Munden) about his State Fair experience.
